Family and Community Mediation (FCM) is partnering with the University of Maine Cooperative Extension in support of the Maine Agricultural Mediation Progam (MAMP) to provide training throughout the State.
A training will be held on October 23 and 24 in Augusta. This 16-hour training is available for certified mediators who are interested in increasing their skills to work directly with farmers and agricultural entities. The training will include an overview of UDSA programs, emerging issues in agriculture, and specific needs related to agricultural mediation. The training is funded through the United States Department of Agriculture, and there is no fee. Registration is required and an agenda will be sent to registered participants in advance of the training.
Registration is through maineagmediation@maine.edu, if you are interested in attending the two-day, 16 hour AGRICULTURAL MEDIATION TRAINING which is a requirement for participating on the Agricultural Roster.
