Please join Maine Association of Mediators in reviving civility and respect either April 4th in Augusta (noon to 2:00 PM) OR April 5th in Portland (9:30 to 11:30 AM) as we welcome Mark Hews, State Coordinator for Maine Revives Civility

During this presentation, Mark will describe the work of Maine Revives Civility along with the types of community conversations that are available to help people hold conversations across differences. Mark will lead participants in exercises on the skill building elements of the different types of conversations.  

2.0 hrs CLE available.

$20 for MAM Members and non MAM Members

A portion of the fee will be donated to Maine Revives Civility.

Mark Hews is President of M E Hews and Company, LLC, specializing in project coaching and facilitation, rural community and economic development, and strategic planning. He is also co-founder of Total Crowd Solutions, an open innovation approach to project planning and resourcing for small towns and rural areas. Mark has 37 years’ experience in community development and project management working with small towns, businesses, and nonprofits. The Company also contracts with organizations to provide leadership and organizational development services and community capacity building. Mark is currently serving as the State Coordinator for Maine Revives Civility, a program of the National Institute for Civil Discourse to help people restore civility and respect in their public discourse.
