Background
Mediation has been a mainstay of Rick's 40-year career. In 2006, Rick became a senior administrator with the Maine Judicial Branch and worked closely with Diane Kenty and the CADRES Committee. Prior to that, Rick was extensively involved in workplace and labor relations mediation.
Rick retired in 2023 and quickly became a CADRES mediator, focusing on small claims and landlord/tenant cases.
In 2026, Rick launched a private mediation practice, Mainstay Mediation, which specializes in Probate matters, contract disputes, consumer, and other non-family disputes.
