Background
With over 16 years of experience in Human Resources, I have dedicated my career to helping individuals and organizations navigate conflict with clarity, fairness, and respect. My work has centered around mediating complex employer-employee grievances, often in emotionally charged environments where trust needs to be rebuilt and communication restored. I understand how disruptive conflict can be—not just to the individuals involved, but to the culture and wellbeing of the broader workplace. My goal is always to create space for honest dialogue and meaningful resolution.
I bring a deep technical foundation to my mediation practice, including expertise in conflict resolution strategies, employment law, workplace investigations, and performance management. These skills are complemented by my ability to remain impartial, ask the right questions, and guide parties toward mutual understanding and sustainable agreements.
In addition to my HR experience, I spent 13 years in the public school system negotiating labor union contracts across various employee groups. This work involved both interest-based and traditional bargaining approaches, sharpening my ability to navigate high-stakes negotiations with empathy, clarity, and integrity. I’ve seen firsthand how transformative it can be when people feel truly heard and understood—even when they don’t agree.
Whether resolving a workplace grievance, supporting a team through a challenging transition, or facilitating a contractual negotiation, I bring a calm, confident presence and a results-driven mindset. I believe in the power of mediation not just as a tool for resolution, but as a pathway to healthier, more resilient relationships.
If you’re looking for a skilled, compassionate mediator who understands the nuances of workplace conflict and labor relations, I’m here to help.
