Background
I actively serve on the CADRES roster for Family Matters mediation in the Maine State Courts. In my younger years, I served families as a midwife; supporting and facilitating their journeys through the intense physical and emotional process of pregnancy, birth, and parenting. I also worked for six years facilitating early childhood music and movement classes. I have managed large numbers of volunteers on campaign, organized and led multi-day events, and served as Executive Director and Program Director of a statewide nonprofit. I am most proud of my work raising and home-educating four dynamic children to be compassionate, confident, self-reliant people. I have engaged in significant study and personal practice in Nonviolent Communication, Resonant Language, change-management, and peaceful parenting.
I am comfortable mediating through video-conferencing, enabling me to work throughout the state and/or beyond the borders of Maine or the US. In-person mediation is available in Waldo County.
I offer mediation of family, community, and workplace conflicts and I am comfortable working with children and teens.
