Background
My background prior to becoming a mediator is varied, including teaching in the public school setting, professional music and human resources. Since 2010 I have been self-employed full time as a mediator, facilitator and Nonviolent Communication trainer. I specialize in assisting people with challenging conversations about issues that really matter and where there is a desire to find a way forward together. I prioritize holding a structure within which people can hear and be heard leading to creative solutions. I enjoy working with individuals, pairs or groups, which can include workplaces, faith communities, boards, non-profits, schools, communities, etc. I am also experienced with divorce and parental rights with 7 years of work within the court system. In additional to my private work through my business Clarity Services, LLC I also serve on the mediation roster for the Maine Agricultural Mediation Program.
